Training Programs in Baluchistan (FY 2021-2024):

  • KCDC is currently working with Punjab Skills Development Fund and World Bank into a partnership agreement for a skills training program to help boost exports in the textile sector of Pakistan, particularly in readymade garments and knitwear. (2023-2024)
  • KCDC in collaboration with Social Welfare Department Government of Baluchistan and nearly trained more than 7500 students in Baluchistan province mainly targeting the unemployed women and minorities (Christians), also welcoming and creating awareness among transgenders and guiding them to success via vocational training. (2021-2023)
  • KCDC institute is consistently aimed to equip neglected segments of society with essential green skills, vocational knowledge, and practical awareness for sustainable livelihoods.
  • KCDC facilitates their students in starting their own business, creating self-employment opportunities, and raising awareness about entrepreneurship.
  • KCDC partnered with UNICEF to provide uniforms, school bags, and essential teaching equipment to government schools in flood-affected areas of Sindh and Punjab, following the floods of 2021-2022.

COVID-19 Response (Tackling the Novel Coronavirus):

KCDC swiftly pivoted to e-learning platforms in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. These platforms offered an array of courses ranging from English language proficiency to vocational skills. Despite the challenges, these initiatives ensured the continuity of education, exemplifying KCDC's adaptability and commitment to its stakeholders.

Achievements and Accomplishments (FY 2017-2019):

  • KCDC collaborated with esteemed organizations such as PSDF, TEVTA, and NAVTTC, successfully conducting vocational training courses and empowering numerous individuals, particularly women, through enhanced confidence and employability.

Achievements and Accomplishments (FY 2009-2016):

  • KCDC Textile & Vocational Institute's collaboration with NAVTTC facilitated vocational training programs under the Prime Minister Skill Development Program, spanning multiple phases.
  • Organizing a textile trade fair for the Pakistan Army showcased KCDC's commitment to providing quality fabrics and garments, earning commendation from the Army.
  • KCDC received a letter of appreciation from the Pakistan Army for its dedication and service excellence.
  • KCDC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PSDF in August 2016, reinforcing its reputation as a premier training institution.
  • KCDC's enrolment with TEVTA marked a significant milestone, paving the way for the introduction of vocational diploma programs.
